The Gotoh GE1996T & GHL-2 Floyd Rose® Locking Tremolo System is one of the finest double-locking tremolo upgrades available, proudly manufactured in Japan to exceptionally high standards. Designed as a premium replacement for Original Floyd Rose® systems, the GE1996T delivers outstanding tuning stability, smooth operation and rock-solid reliability, even under the most aggressive vibrato use. It features a hardened steel baseplate, specially processed steel saddles, a precision-machined brass sustain block and Gotoh's patented Stud Lock system, which locks the pivot studs in place for improved sustain, stability and tuning consistency. The adjustable screw-in tremolo arm allows players to fine-tune arm tension and positioning for a personalized feel.

Included with the system is the Gotoh GHL-2 locking nut, designed for guitars that require a top-mount nut as opposed to a neck-through nut. Manufactured from hardened steel, the locking nut securely clamps the strings to virtually eliminate tuning drift, making it the ideal companion to the GE1996T tremolo. Together, the bridge and locking nut provide exceptional performance for everything from subtle vibrato to aggressive dive bombs while consistently returning to pitch.
