Advanced Plating Color Options

Aged Nickel

Typically features a muted, slightly darkened silver-gray color, often with hints of brown or black. This gives it a more sophisticated and vintage look compared to the bright, reflective quality of new nickel. This finish has a slightly uneven or textured surface, which enhances its aged appearance. You might see subtle variations or imperfections that mimic natural wear and tear.

Aged Gold

This finish offers a rich, timeless look with a vintage charm. It combines the luxurious appearance of gold with a patina that makes it appear weathered or antique. Featuring a warm, golden hue with deeper, darker undertones. Instead of the bright, shiny appearance of new gold, this finish has a subdued, almost relic look with variations that can include hints of bronze, brown, or even green. This color variation gives it a more nuanced, historical feel.

Black Chrome

Combining the sleek, reflective qualities of chrome with a deep, dark color for a modern and sophisticated look. Having a dark, almost black appearance with a metallic sheen. The finish can range from a deep, glossy black to a slightly lighter, charcoal gray, depending on the specific application and lighting. It gives a subtle, darkly reflective look without being a pure, flat black. Also know as Cosmo Black.

Black Nickel

Having a subtle, reflective quality that enhances it's depth and visual interest. A smooth and even finish, aiming for a refined and consistent look. Known for its durability and resistance to corrosion and tarnish. The finish maintains its appearance over time and is less prone to scratches and wear compared to some other dark finishes. Also known as Pearl Chrome.

Chrome

Famous for its glossy, mirror-like finish. It reflects light very well, creating a shiny and eye-catching effect. The finish is highly reflective, making surfaces appear almost like a mirror. Known for durability and resistance to tarnish, corrosion, and wear. Easy to clean and maintain, making it the option for longevity.

Gold

The color can range from bright, yellow gold to a more subdued, warm and rich tone, depending on the specific type of base metal's original color.  Electroplated with 24K gold. Capturing light well, adding to its luxurious appearance. When left in an open, hot and humid environment a patina will appear.

Nickel

Has a bright, silvery appearance with a slightly warm or vintage tone. Brand New Nickel has a reflective, mirror-like quality and is often confused for Chrome. Often used on historic reissues. The most popular of all the finishes. The color will age and form a patina naturally.

Solar Black Powder Coat

A deep, rich black color. Unlike some other black finishes that might have a glossy or reflective quality, Solar Black typically has a very dark, matte appearance. This provides a sleek and sophisticated look while minimizing glare. Powder coating is specifically designed to provide a high level of protection and durability. Helps to conceal dirt and fingerprints better than glossy finishes.
