Randy's History

Growing up in the '90s, Randy honed his guitar skills at his mom’s music instrument repair shop. The 1998 photo shows him playing his cherished '96 Fender® acoustic guitar, which he still owns today. While admitting he's not the most accomplished musician, his over thirty years in the industry more than make up for it.

Randy's LLC History

In 2020, Randy's LLC emerged from the sale of a 2011 Gibson® SG®. The initial venture was quickly followed by the refurbishment of countless more guitars. Historical classics to modern rarities, breathing new life into once great instruments. Even though the company has evolved significantly since then, Randy does refurbish guitars to this day.

Randy's Custom Shop

A division of Randy’s LLC, established in 2025. Focused on the manufacturing and customization of OEM hardware for the guitar industry. We specialize in unique, innovative products that push the boundaries of traditional guitar parts. Our capabilities include Cerakote® ceramic coating, precision engraving, custom graphic design, UV printing, component marking, and a full suite of technical services.

Our Green Initiative

Randy's and Advanced Plating has teamed up to provide the most sustainable OEM guitar hardware available. Retail packaging and shipping materials are both curbside recyclable and biodegradable, free from single-use plastics; any plastics included have been re-used.

Randy's LLC is proudly licensed by the United States Fish & Wildlife Service for the import and export of natural materials. It is important to us that all of our horn, bone, shell, and wood are sustainably sourced from the most reputable farms and ranches worldwide.
