* If your guitar has a thick nitrocellulose finish, you may need to lightly sand the inside edge of the control cavity for a proper fit. Nitro clear coats build up in this area during the finishing process, making the cavity slightly smaller and preventing the cover from seating correctly. Removing a small amount of excess finish from the inside edge is a common solution and will not be visible once the cover is installed.
