Gibson® originally used two distinct strap button variations, each selected to complement the instrument’s finish and hardware. Raw aluminum was used on burst finished guitars, while raw brass was paired with gold hardware.

The True Historic Series takes this often overlooked detail seriously, reverse-engineering the humble strap button down to the finest details to reproduce the materials, proportions and character of the original 1950s components.

Includes two Norlin® end pins for acoustic, bass and electric guitar. Does not include mounting hardware. Compatible with Gibson®, Epiphone®, Heritage® and Jimmy Wallace Guitars®.
